Cold but sun made a difference. Soon overpowered on 5m so down to 4m, still too big in gusts and a bit overfoiled. Rode a few swells. Sea messed up further out as tide neared high, but smooth swells inshore - sea always different. Tried a few footswaps and all failed, tried a few last time and all worked. What's going on ???
